Professor Yunus' meeting with the Chinese President began at 10 am local time today at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Memorandum of understanding and agreement on human resource development, media, economic investment and health may be signed in the meeting, which may also be discussed on Teesta water management.
After this meeting, Muhammad Yunus will participate in an ‘investment dialogue’ with Chinese business leaders in Presidential Beijing at 11:45 local time today.
The event is being organized to inform Chinese investors about the business-friendly environment in Bangladesh and attract Chinese investment in Bangladesh.
The Chief Adviser will also join three round table discussions on sustainable infrastructure and energy investments, Bangladesh 2.0 production and market opportunities and social business, youth entrepreneurs and the world of three zeros - the world at the same time.
During the meeting, he will interact with the CEO of various companies, veterans of social business circles, high officials of famous Chinese companies and business representatives.
Professor Yunus will attend a dinner hosted in honor of the Bangladesh ambassador to China.
The chief adviser is now on a four-day visit to China.
