In Lakshmipur, a popular doctor has held a protest march and an hour-long human chain program to demand the withdrawal of the transfer order of a doctor.
This program was held under the banner of people from all walks of life in front of Upazila Health Complex in Karitala Bazar of Kamalnagar Upazila on Saturday afternoon.
That doctor is Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex Medical Officer Rezaul Karim Rajib.
AKM Nurul Amin Master, businessman Russell and former UP member Salim, local Charlornance Union Parishad, were present in the human chain and more than five hundred men and women from different areas of the upazila.
The speakers said that Rajeev is a humanitarian doctor who has taken the risk of life during the corona and has been serving the people in the silly, demanding that he has been transferred to the health department and revoked the transfer order of the Department of Health and requested the Prime Minister and the Health Minister to give him another appointment to Kamalnagar.
According to hospital sources, Rezaul Karim Rajiv has been transferred from Kamalnagar to Mithapukur Upazila Health Complex in Rangpur.
