A four-year-old child was found local in Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur. It has been alleged that Saeed Ullah has raped, the victim's father, Omar Farooq, filed a case in Kamalnagar police station. The child has been admitted to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital in critical condition and the incident took place at Charmartin village of the upazila on Friday (June 1) around 10 am.
According to the relatives of the victim and hospital, Saeed Ullah, a resident of Charlorns area of Kamalnagar, lives in his father-in-law's house as a housemate. In the morning, the four-year-old child from the house next door went to his grandfather's father's house and his father also went out for work. The child is on his way back home. Saeed Ullah picked her up and raped her. The bloody condition of the child was rescued and admitted to Sadar Hospital.
Relatives and neighbors have arrested the accused rapist and demanded justice for the incident.
Resident Medical Officer of Sadar Hospital Dr. Anonor Hossain said a child was admitted to the hospital after being taken to the hospital due to excessive bleeding. The police have been informed about the rape and the patient's condition is critical.
Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iqbal Hossain said that the incident of rape has been filed in Kamalnagar Thana. Police Inspector Abul Kalam Azad, in charge of the Hajirhat investigation center, will give the responsibility of the investigation of the case.
