The people of Chandpur celebrated Eid al-Fitr by completing 30 fasts in line with the Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia.
From Monday morning, the mood of Eid started in the villages of Hajiganj and Faridganj, Shahrasti and Matlab upazilas of the district.
Starting from 9 am, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held in more than 20 mosques and Eidgaon grounds.
