Charbhadrasan Thana Police arrested two drug dealers named Md. Mamun Pramanik (32) and Md Sheikh Ripon (32) along with Charbhadrasan Upazila of Faridpur.
On Saturday (November 25) at 8:30 pm, while staying on Charbhadrasan Sadar Bazar Bridge, Md. Mamun Pramanik and Md. Ripon Sheikh were arrested with 50 pieces of e-Taba in a raid through secret information.
According to the secret information of Charbhadrasan police station, SI Shahin Miaron, he came to know that Charbhadrasan is being sold on the bridge in Sadar Bazar, ASI Ali Akram, and his partner are also being sold on the bridge.
Two drug dealers were arrested in a co-operation operation. Mamun Pramanik, Father Deceased Abdul Rashid Pramanik (2) Md. Sheikh Ripon, Father Deceased Sheikh Fazal. A resident of Dangir in Alam Nagar Madhu Shikdar.
Salim Reza, officer-in-charge of Charbhadrasan police station, said that there has been a case under section 10 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2018 against the arrested. They were sent to the court on Sunday morning.
