A 45-year-old woman named Alam Ara Begum has died in 14 hours, 113 patients with dengue have been admitted to various hospitals in the city.
The district Civil Surgeon's office came to know this information on Tuesday (August 1).
He was admitted to Chittagong General Hospital on July 30. He died on the morning of August 1. Earlier on July 27, the civil surgeon reported the death of one person on July 27. This year, the number of dengue deaths has been reported in 26. Dengue cases have been admitted to various hospitals among 113 people in government hospitals and 60 in private hospitals, 53 people in the government hospital and 60 in private hospitals, 2088.
Civil surgeon Dr. advised everyone to be aware of dengue prevention. Ilyach Chowdhury said that the general public should be aware of dengue prevention and should be kept clean around the basil and consult a doctor if fever is present.
