The National Oikya Front has received permission to hold a public meeting in front of the BNP metropolitan office located in Kazir Deu, Chittagong next Sunday.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Mahabubur Rahman said to the media that the Jati Oikya Front has been allowed to hold a public meeting by using one side of the BNP office Nasimon Bhavan, which is conditionally, and their rally should be completed by 5 pm.
Earlier, the National Oikya Front applied to the police for permission to hold a rally at Laldighi Madadan in Chittagong.
However, on Friday, the Metropolitan Police did not allow Oikya Front to use Laldighi Matadan in front of the BNP office.
Earlier, the national unity front held a rally in Sylhet last Wednesday.
