The traditional Lokayat Sangeet Baul Sandhya of Gram Bengal was held on the initiative of Masterbari truck and covered van workers of Sreepur Municipality. On 30th October, 7 pm, this Baul Sandhya was held in the open field adjacent to Chowkkar Canal on the east side of the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.
Baul Sandhya was present as the chief guest, Mr. Md. Abul Hossain Pradhan, a member of Sripur Municipal BNP Convener and Mayoral candidate for Sripur Municipality, Mr. Md. Abul Hossain Pradhan, said in the speech of the chief guest, that Baul song is a part of the culture of Bangladesh, the nature of the nature of Bengal, the nature of the soil and people of the current Bengal is expressed through Baul songs.
