The Jati Nagrik Party (NCP) has a heated situation around the July march of Gopalganj.
On Wednesday (July 16) at noon, the first in the place where the march and rally was supposed to be held in Gopalganj city, some leaders and activists of the Chhatra League were banned. They were seen to be indifferent to the police.
Shortly after this, the central leaders of the National Party came to the rally. They took part in the meeting. Nahid Islam, Hasnat Abdullah, Sargis Alam and others, and the moment they left, a group of armed men tried to attack the leaders and workers from all sides.
Later, the police and APBN were in a long line with the police and the workers of the banned Chhatra League and Aotami League threw bombs at the police.
At one point, they set fire to the stage that they had set up for the NCP rally, and the cheeters brought to sit in the activists also broke the road and left the road and set it on fire.
Earlier in the morning, Awami League and Chhatra League leaders and activists blocked the road by cutting down trees on the Ghonapara-Tekkerhat regional road in Gandhiashur area of Sadar Upazila.
Earlier, there was an attack, vandalism and setting fire to a police vehicle in Ulpur of Gopalganj Sadar, which was injured by several policemen.
Considering the heated situation, Section 144 has been issued in Gopalganj.
