At least 17 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Burez refugee camp in the central part of Gaza, according to the area's civilian security agency. The Israeli military is attacking Hamas positions there.

The spokesperson of the organization, Mahmud Basal, said that in the three-storey house of the Abdul Hadi family in the refugee camp, a missile fired from an Israeli warplane fell.

Their groups have rescued the bodies of 17 people including children and some other injured people. Basal said that the bodies of the victims and the injured were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat Shibir and Al-Aqsa Shaheed Hospital in Deir al-Balah city, and workers of Al-Awda Hospital also confirmed the number of casualties.

A spokesperson said that there have been several airstrikes in the central and northern parts of Gaza since Tuesday morning.

In addition, eyewitnesses and rescuers said that the operation of the Israeli military continues in Jabalia, where the army has launched ground attacks in recent days. On the other hand, a statement by the Israeli military said that about 20 terrorists were killed in the airstrikes in Jabalia last day. And the army destroyed an arms warehouse in the area.

The Israeli army said on Sunday that despite a year of attack and hard fighting, the troops have surrounded Jabalia in response to a hint of re-organization.

In a separate statement, the Israeli army said it had killed three Hamas fighters who took part in the October 7 attack.

They were killed in an airstrike in a school in Daraj Tufah area on September 30.
