Khulna University (Khubi) Green Voice and Environmental Aurnass Club, Khoogi's joint seminar titled “Leveraging the Sustainable Development Goals to Enhanced Environmental Sustainability in Bangladesh” was held.
Today Saturday (September 9) this seminar was held at the university journalist Litakat Ali Milnattan.
Mr. Iqbal Habib, Vice President of Bangladesh Environment Movement, was present as the chief guest in the event and gave a detailed discussion about the role of youth in sustainable development. To implement the SDGs, he highlighted the importance of partnerships with government, business, civil society and common people. He highlighted the importance of the various goals of sustainable development and the importance of the development of the environment, he highlighted the activities of the Bangladesh Environment Movement.
Head of Environmental Sustainance Discipline, Professor Dr. Under the chairmanship of Abdullah Harun Chowdhury, the founder of Green Votes and General Secretary of Bangladesh Environment Movement Md. Alamgir Kabir, Professor of Economic Discipline spoke as special guests. Shahnewaz Nazim Uddin Ahmed, Head of Soil, Water and Environment Discipline Professor Md. Sanaul Islam.
They discuss elaborately and provide supportive advice about the environment-friendly lifestyle to transform a green, healthy and sustainable future.
Also, quiz competition and question and answer session will be held in the event and the winners will be awarded at the end of the event.
