The Appellate Division has dismissed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's bail application in the Zia Charitable Trust case, but if Khaleda Ji gives her consent, she has been ordered to give a biological treatment.
The Appellate Bench headed by the Chief Justice passed this order on Thursday (December 12). Earlier, Khaleda Zia's medical board's report was heard and her bail application was heard.
Attorney General Mahbube Alam, who was in court, was heard by Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan on behalf of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Lawyers Khandkar Mahbub Hossain and Zainul Abedin heard on behalf of Khaleda Zia.
Earlier, the appeal hearing was started in the six-judge bench of the Appellate Division headed by the Chief Justice at 10:30 AM and submitted the report sent to the court by the Registrar General Medical Board of the Supreme Court.
Later, Khaleda Gita's lawyer Jhatnul Abedin started the hearing on this report.
