Former Australian spinner Stuart McGill has been convicted of being involved in cocaine supply, which was confirmed by the country's national broadcaster ABC.
The main event was in 2021. The former leg-spinner introduced an associate to his personal cocaine dealer, which was reported to be involved in the 200,000 drug deals with the police, but he was found guilty of consciously participating in the drug supply.
However, the 54-year-old ex-ager was released from the allegations of supplying drugs in the commercial area.
McGill has played 44 Tests for Australia from 1998 to 2008. He was considered talented, but he was left behind in the light of the best leg-spinner Shane Warne.
