The Krishi Technology Center was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and she inaugurated the 50th anniversary of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRI) and she was attending a function organized at the event.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will unveil five publications of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute and Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council during the second phase of the event at 11 am on Thursday.
The event is presided over by the Minister of Agriculture. Abdur Razzak, Minister of State for Youth and Crea, Zahid Ahsan Russell, Executive Director of Global Institute of Food Security (CEU) of Canada was present as special guest. Stevin Oteb, Director General of the International Rice Research Institute of the Philippines. Zain Bali, Executive Cheterman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council. Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtitar and Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture O'lahida Akhtar.
