The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has recommended a case against primary school head teachers, presidents and engineers of the board of directors of the government allocated in Khoksa upazila of Kushtia without doing development work. The investigation committee has found evidence of embezzling this money with the connivance of each other without doing any work with this money. A few days ago, through a letter, the head office has written to the departmental office instructing them to file separate cases against the accused.
The accused are Bikarna Kumar Biswas, Headmaster of Machuaghata Government Primary School No. 80 of Khoksa Upazila, President of Khoksa Upazila Awami League and President of School Board Babul Akhtar, Local Government Engineer Directorate Khoksa Upazila Engineer Abdus Samad and Assistant Education. Talking to some of Khoksar's head teachers of these schools, it is known that after the issue of corruption was leaked, the president of the upazila primary teachers' association, Abu Hanif, raised 2,000 taka from each school, said that the money was paid to the ACC official. With this money, the president of the school management board also gave his opinion in favor of managing the officials. Office officials, head teachers and upazila engineers all get a share of this money.
The money was withdrawn from the signature of the head of the Upazila Primary Education Office, but none of them were accused, and the Upazila Engineer and Assistant Engineer would give the certificate of the certificate, but the case was reversed. Every school has been implemented without inspecting whether the work has been done or not certified in effect.
In this regard, Upazila Engineer Abdus Samad said, "It is our job to do a planning or stitt of how the work will be implemented. We don't know anything besides that, the responsibility of the organization is the organization's responsibility."
Babul Akhtar, president of Khoksa Upazila Awami League and president of the board of directors, said, ’Teaching leader Abu Hanif is the master of all the crimes, we don't know anything about it. They did everything."
Teacher leader Abu Hanif said, ’The ACC has been investigating every school and checks how much work they have done. Then there may be a case. There is no truth to the allegations that they are raising money in the name of managing them."
Upazila Primary Education Officer Syeda Nazneen Alam said, "I am not aware of the case. If the letter is received, then action will be taken institutionally."
