The incident took place at 11 am today at Deutli Government Primary School Center in Jhalam Unityan Upazila, presiding officer Sarotar Bhui and Sub-Inspector (SI) Abu Hanif, who was stabbed in the same stabbing of a polling station in Comilla's Baruja.
The injured presiding officer Sarotar Bhui, said that two member candidates tried to occupy the center and if this was interrupted. I am admitted in the upazila health complex, I have 11 stitches in my hand.
Baruja police station officer-in-charge (OC) Iqbal Bahar said that a presiding officer, including a police member, was injured, and additional police personnel were deployed at the spot.
