Health Minister Zahid Malek said that the country has created another milestone in the health sector by launching 10 district antigen tests in the country during Mujib Year. Covid tests were already coming in 118 PCR labs. Now new antigen tests (Panchag, Gaibandha, Jhartpurhat, Jessore, Meherpur, Madaripur, Munshiganj, Sylhet, Brahmanbai, Patu) have started.
He said these things at the inauguration ceremony of 10 district antigen test facilities of the country by participating in the online zoom meeting organized by IEDCR under the jurisdiction of the Department of Health on Saturday.
The minister said that the test is approved by the World Health Organization. The first case is that this antigen test is being started only in those places where there is no PCR lab but the space and number of these tests will be increased very soon.
The Health Minister inaugurated the antigen test of Jessore Government Hospital through the online zoom, and the minister said in his speech that the result will be obtained in just 15-30 minutes through the antigen test, which will be useful in any other important case including any emergency operation.
The government has formulated the policy for the rapid antigen test. The worm will be used as per the policy. No cost of this test will be spent for this test. This test can be done at just 100 rupees. These antigen test worms will not be brought by the World Health Organization and will be free from the use of insects.
It should be noted that this antigen pest will not be applicable in the state of anti-trans i.e. all airports, land ports, seaports, but in all government hospitals of the country, these insects will be used in places where there is no PCR lab or more infections.
