Brown University has awarded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with a special award, which has been awarded to the people at the doorstep of the people for the development of a community clinic model to deliver healthcare services to the people.
Dr. Brown University's Health Science Vice President and Dean of Medicine and Boological Sustains at Ultra Alpert Medical School. Mukesh K Jain handed over the certificate to the Prime Minister at his location, The Lotte New York Hotel.
Deputy Press Secretary of the Prime Minister. Noore Elahi Meena said in a news briefing that Brown's Utaren Alpert Medical School has given a special honor to the Prime Minister for his recognition by the United Nations for his initiative of the Community Clinic model.
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh has been told in the Deota certificate that the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina is congratulated for the recent recognition of the ‘Sheikh Hasina initiative’ by the United Nations.
It also states that a successful model of community-based primary health care: a participatory and inclusive approach to universal health through the development of primary healthcare, women's capacity, and community engagement.
Meeting with the Prime Minister, Dr. Jain discussed Bangladesh-Brown or Medical Research and Education Initiative as a possible platform to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of public health and research.
The Dhan Minister praised the initiative and expressed his support for it.
Brown University is testing various cervical cancers in Bangladesh.
Dr. Jain also said they could help Bangladesh to turn up electronic data management to various community clinics to keep records of patients receiving healthcare from the clinic. The company has expressed its willingness to sign a partnership with Bangladesh and the company has also expressed its desire to sign an agreement.
