High flow central oxygen system has been introduced in Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex in Laxmipur.
On Tuesday (July 21) afternoon, Laxmipur Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Pal inaugurated the high flow oxygen system through video conference.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Chairman of Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abu Taher, resident medical officer Dr. Mir Aminul Islam Manju, Medical Officer Dr. Rezaul Karim Rajib, Upazila Vice Chairman Omar Farooq Sagar was present in the meeting. Aqeel Al Islam, Dr. O'ali Uddin Masud, UP Chairman Ahsan Ullah Hiron, Press Club President Sajjadur Rahman.
With the launch of the High Flow Central Oxygen Plant at the Isolation Ointard of the Hospital, it will be easier to serve the patients suffering from an acute oxygen shortage, especially the critical patients of the corona virus, and the people of the central oxygen pants are launched.
The doctors of the upazila health complex have learned that the 50-bed hospital will be under the 10-bed high flow central oxygen. Out of which 7 are common beds, 2 cabins and a VIP cabin with high flow central oxygen.
Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi said, "We are working to convert the Upazila Health Complex into a modern hospital, especially the medical care of corona patients has been taken and there is a sufficient measure to ensure that the high flow central oxygen system has been introduced."
Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Mobarak Hossain said that the respiratory problems of corona patients are affected by high flow central oxygen, which is why the joint decision of the upazila administration and the upazila parishad has taken the initiative of high flow central oxygen system.
