A day-long ICT poisoning workshop was held at Kamalnagar Upazila Sutsens Club of Laxmipur.
On January 30 (Thursday) morning, the workshop started at Hajir Hat Govt Millat Academy School in the upazila. The day-long workshop was conducted by Ishtiq Ahmed Sajid, a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Premier University.
The workshop is organized to give the basic idea of computer programming and programming language C to secondary level students. It is attended by 100 students from different schools of the upazila.
Sajid, one of the organizers and workshop instructors of Kamalnagar Sutsens Club, said, "In the current information technology era, it is very important for every student who has basic computer skills. We are trying our best to give an ICT poison idea through our hands and pen projectors. Students can also join us online if they want to.
"Kamalnagar is a river erosion area where the students are mostly backward. We work on the skill development of the students through various meeting seminars and trackshops. We will go a long way in the country's collective efforts," said Nazmul Hasan, founder president of the Scets Club.
