Farmer Shahajan Chowdhury made a written complaint to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer on Wednesday (April 10).

A few farmers of Char Martin Uniton said that money is being forced to pay 75 to 100 rupees per cent for the cultivation and supply of water in the Iridhan project. Skill managers are not allowing farmers to be harassed and harassed and not allowing paddy to harvest.

Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC Irrigation) Deputy Assistant Engineer (Irrigation) Md. Sanaulah said, "Every year, the money has not been done for irrigation this year, but last year, the electric irrigation was Rs 50 per cent and diesel-powered irrigation project at Rs 65 per cent, but it wouldn't be more than that."

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla said, based on the complaints of the farmers, Upazila Agriculture Officer (A.D.) and Uniton Chairman Yusuf Ali have been given dutitita to solve it so that the farmers are not harmed.
