Teacher Death in Kamalnagar, 12 Family Lockdown

A madrasa teacher named Maulana Saleh Uddin Ahmed (55) died in Hajirhat Unilet in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur, and the administration has locked 12 families on suspicion of coronavirus.
On Thursday (April 9) afternoon, he died in Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital. He died. He was a resident of Charjangalita Hafijita Madrasa area of Hazirhat Unit of deceased Saleh Ahmed Upazila and an assistant teacher of local Sufita Darul Aman Islami Dakhil Madrasa.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abu Taher said the teacher was suffering from respiratory problems and also suffered from diabetes for a long time.
He was admitted to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital when he suffered from respiratory problems with Datbetis on Wednesday. He died on Thursday afternoon while undergoing treatment.
He said that the dead teacher's body has the symptoms of corona (suffering) and has been sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease (BITID) for testing.
Locals said that the deceased Saleh Ahmed was in the pond and he was more prolonged with a long-standing brother-in-law and pacer. When his condition worsened, he was admitted to Laxmipur Sadar and died on Thursday afternoon.
Kamalnagar police station officer-in-charge Muhammad Nurul Abshar said that 12 families of the deceased teacher have been locked down.
