The youth day of the upazila has been celebrated in the colorful Ajnat Janadhis in Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur with the slogan ’self-activist youth power, sustainable development'.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masudur Rahman presided over the discussion meeting as the chief guest was Upazila Parishad Chairman Advocate Said Md. Shamchul Alam and Upazila Vice Chairman Maulana Humatun Kabir were the special guests.
Upazila Youth Development Officer Monir Hossain moderated it among others, Upazila Agriculture Officer Golam Farooq Bhui, Upazila Livestock Officer Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Upazila NGO Parishad co-operative journalist Yushuf Ali Mithu and NGO Pratas Executive Director Md. Antar Hossain and others.
Initiating a seven-day training course in poultry farming and self-reliance, a loan of Tk 1 lakh 70 thousand should be distributed among three youth workers.
