The local residents of the river breaking the river in Kamalnagar upazila Pattorirhat market on Monday (July 13) morning under the banner of Pattori's Hat Raksha Manch have been formed to demand the construction of the dams of Laxmipur's Kamalnagar upazila from the turbulent Meghna river.

Rakib Hossain Sohail, Patirirhat Uniton Chhatra League President Rakib Hossain Lotus, Unit A-League Deputy General Secretary Haji Jamal Uddin, District Faritar General Secretary Humatun Kabir Biplab, Kamalnagar Star Club Vice President Makchudur Rahman, General Secretary Ichmail Hossain, Kriza Secretary Akter Pathori, New Tarunya Wave Sangsad Secretary Alam Raja and others.
Kamalnagar Star Club, New Tarunya Tarunga Sangsad, Patatirhat Juniter Ekta Sangh, Popular Focus Khaterhat, Student XI are not participating in the unity and protest in human chain and protest.
The speakers said that thousands of families in Kamalnagar and Ramgati upazilas have lost their homes due to the severe erosion of the river. They demanded that the construction project of the local embankment project be implemented in the region immediately.
