Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Laxmipur): A woman named Suraita Begum (33) died in Kamalnagar of Laxmipur. The accident took place under a tree on the river bank of Char Falkon Uniitne of the upazila on Tuesday morning.
Locals said in the morning, the woman went to look for fish in the river. There was a sudden downing of the tree when she was buried under a tree. Mizan's wife, the poor woman's husband, has been under treatment for a long time, she is the mother of two children, and used to look for fish on the banks of the Prat river to support the family.
Haji Harun or Rashid, the chairman of Char Falcon Unit of the upazila, confirmed the poison.
