Pacer Ebadat Hossain was injured during the last series against Afghanistan. He injured his left knee in the second match of the series in the second ODI of the series, which is why the right-handed pacer has not been kept in the T-Tourteny series against the Afghans.

Bad forehead, he has not fully recovered from that knee injury yet. Since the World Cup is ahead, he wants to take risks now. No Bangladesh Cricket Bard (BCB). So even though he is kept in the 17-member squad for the upcoming Ashita Cup, he is not playing the game in the end.

However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has not yet decided on Ebadat, but he has been injured in the ‘ACI Grade O'an’ injury, which is why he will be able to play in the series against New Zealand at home next month.

Chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, ‘Ebadat did not fit fully, and we do not want to take risks before the World Cup. I can't say anything until I get a physio report tomorrow. But if I worship, Tanjim Shakib or one of Khaled will be taken in the Asita Cup.’
