The Ministry of Education has formed a selection committee for MPO membership in private educational institutions and another technical committee for online applications and management. The Ministry of Education has formed these two committees on Wednesday (June 20) afternoon amid the continuous sit-in program of teachers and employees on the north side of the road in front of the National Press Club demanding MPO membership.
An Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education, the ‘Establishment of the Organization for Selection’ of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Private Secondary) Javed Ahmed has been formed by the Committee of Bangladesh Education and Statistics (BANBAIS), Director General of Secondary and Higher Education, Joint Secretary (Law), Director of Secondary and Higher Education (Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education).
This committee will recommend to the government for MPO membership of new private educational institutions according to the manpower structure and MPO Policy-2018 of the private educational institutions (schools and colleges) and the MPO policy-2018. If there is any inconsistency or inconsistency in the application information of the institution, it will also recommend the government to take action and recommend it to the government. This committee will also recommend other relevant issues.
On the other hand, an eight-member technical committee has been formed under the leadership of Director General Md. Fasiullah, Director General Md. Fasiullah, which has been kept as a member of the Ministry of Education, Senior System Analyst, Programmer and other officials of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
This committee will take online applications to prepare the list of educational institutions that meet the conditions of the policy.The committee will also oversee the data processing activities of the applications. This committee will present the gradation list of the educational institutions prepared in a voluntary manner to the ‘institution selection committee’.
According to the sources of the Ministry of Education, according to the new policy, thousands of educational institutions will be included in the MPO. After the creation of the new software, applications will be accepted from the MPO-aspirant educational institutions online soon after the long last eight years, private educational institutions are being included in the MPO.
Currently, there are 5,242 recognized non-MPO educational institutions across the country, which have 75 to 80,000 teachers and staff. After 2010, no other educational institution has been included in the MPO in the country. If the MPO is included, the teachers and employees get some allowances from the government along with the basic salary.
At the beginning of January last year and this year, these teachers-employees started a continuous program with a hunger strike in front of the Jati Press Club.
