The party's chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad said that the national party will serve as the main opposition party in the 11th national parliament, it is also said that there will be no member of the national party.
The chairman of the party gave this information in a press release on Friday.
According to the press release, the president of the National Party's parliamentary party will be the office of the out-of-state Hussein Muhammad Ershad and the deputy leader will serve as the deputy leader, the party's co-chairman Golam Mohammad Quader will not be included in the cabinet of the Jatiya Party.
Ershad has requested the Honorable Speaker of the Parliament to take necessary measures in this regard.
