The ruling Awami League has highlighted 21 promises in the election manifesto on the occasion of the upcoming 11th National Assembly elections.
Party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina started reading the manifesto at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Tuesday (December 18) at 10:25 am.
‘The goals and commitments that the Awami League have highlighted in the manifesto titled ’Advancing Bangladesh' are:
1. Expanding modern urban facilities in each village
2. Converting the youth of the youth into skilled manpower and the guarantee of employment
3. Adopting zero tolerance policy against corruption
4. Women's Power, Gender Equality and Child Welfare
5. The Restriction of Nutritious and Safe Food
6. Elimination of terrorism, militancy, sectarianism and drug eradication
7 Fast and quality implementation of mega projects
8 To promote democracy and the rule of law
9 .Elimination of poverty
10. Improve education at all levels
11. Ensuring quality healthcare for all
12. More Usage of Digital Technology in Overall Development
