In the Islamic University, Greater Comilla (Comilla, Brahmanbaria and Chandpur) organized a day-long charivati event under the initiative of Student Welfare Forum.
On Wednesday (December 11), the sparrow ceremony was organized in the enchanted lake premises of the university.
Essmt was present by the advisor of the organization, the treasurer of the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Dean of Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies and Professor of Al Quran and Islamic Studies Department. A. M. Chiddikur Rahman Ashrafi, Professor of Al Hadith and Islamic Studies Department. More than 100 students from various sessions including Mostafizur Rahman, current president Hasanul Banna Oli and general secretary Huzzatullah Bhuita will start the event from 11 am.
At the end of the competition, there are three and the other three and the other winners will be organized in the city's fascination with the participation of each of them.A total of 7 people including the winner of the fall will be awarded.
The event ended with Islamic music, songs, chats, lunch and photo shoot sessions.
Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam said, “We love Comilla with our hearts. The students of Comilla are talented. They are involved in various activities of the university. If you go to the Bangladesh Secretariat, you will see that most of them are from Comilla. We will have to come closer to bridge with the students in the coming days. Hope there will be a bigger scale in the future.”
President Hasanul Banna Oli told the organization, “Camilla is the home of our Pro-VC, Treasurer, former and current Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, President of the Deans Committee, Dean of the Faculty of Theology and the provost of several halls. We are proud of such achievements of Comilla's accomplished children at EB. We will try to continue this continuity.”
