In another way, Allah Ta'ala says, ‘They are patient, truthful, follower of instructions, who are in the right path and seekers for forgiveness in the last night’ (Surah: Ale Imran, A'at: 17)
About the night worship, Hazrat Abu Hurairah narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi, Allah Ta'ala Anhu, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘Allah Ta'ala descends to the sky near the earth during the rest of the night, and who will call me?’ I will answer his call, who is there, who will ask for me? I will give it to him, who is there, who will ask for forgiveness from me? I will forgive him' (Bukhari, Hadith: 1145)
