Sreepur Upazila Parishad Chairman candidate Md. Jamil Hasan Durjat The Election Commission (EC) has canceled the candidature.
EC Additional Secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath gave this information to reporters after the hearing in the conference room of the Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission Secretariat on Wednesday (May 15).
Ashok Kumar said, breaking the code of conduct, Chatterman candidate of Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur district. The Commission has canceled the candidature of Jamil Hasan and the Election Commission has given this decision after hearing the candidate. Before that, the candidate was given a show cause notice and he was asked to appear in person at the Election Commission on May 15 and be asked to explain the complaint.
After hearing all the statements of the candidate today, after reviewing all the issues, the Election Commission Ed Jamil Hasan Dujt announced the candidature canceled. It should be noted that he was holding the second phase of the election of Sreepur Upazila Parishad in Gazipur.
