Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reiterated her commitment to conducting the upcoming general elections in a free and fair manner.
Sheikh Hasina said this when she went to meet the Prime Minister at her office today when the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Sweden's foreign affairs cooperation was meeting with the Prime Minister at her office today.
After the meeting, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim quoted Sheikh Hasina and told the media, “We are committed to conducting the upcoming general elections in a free and fair manner.”
Karim said that Sweden should also hold free and fair elections in Chaat Bangladesh, the Swedish Minister of State has mentioned this.
