We are now more powerful, energetic and creative than any time in the past, said the chief advisor of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus.
He said this in a speech on the occasion of the handover of Ekushey Padak-2025 at Osmani Smriti Milnattan in the capital on Thursday (February 20) morning.
Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus said, ‘The dream of our young generation is daring in the dreams of any generation in the past. They want to create a new Bangladesh with the same confidence. They want to lead in the creation of a new world. They are ready to lead. The boys are also ready, the girls are also ready, the girls are also ready.’
Dr. Yunus said, ‘Young people want to be freed from the bonds of self-destructive civilization and become a new civilization of their dreams. The main goal of a civilization is to ensure equal rights for every human being on all the resources of the world, to dream of every human being and realize all the opportunities to realize that dream, to build the life of the people in such a way that the existence of the world is not disturbed in any way and the living of all the animals living on the earth is not disturbed in any way.’
The chief adviser said, ‘We wish the youth to ensure the immediate realization of this dream of the great martyr's day and International Mother Language Day 2025. I am grateful to those who have received recognition from the nation today and congratulate them again.’
Dr. Yunus said, ‘I congratulate the countrymen on behalf of the eminent personalities of the country who have been awarded Ekushey Padak today. The nation is very grateful for your contribution. You are the guide of the nation. Inspired by your contribution, the nation is inspired by the nation's conviction. The United Nations will continue to establish itself in a better position in the Majlis.’
The chief advisor said, ‘Last year, the uprising of the student-labor-crowd on August 5 last year Through this biz, we have got the opportunity to build a new Bangladesh. Today, I remember with deep respect for the awarding ceremony, the brave students-workers-people who sacrificed their lives and were injured in the mass uprising of the 1970s, the Great Liberation War of the 1970s and the mass uprising of 24.’
Dr. Yunus said, ‘This time Amar Ekushe has appeared before us with new significance in the changing situation of the country. We know that February 1st is the indestructible monument of our self-identity. Our independence spirit is a memorable one. The flow of life was on February 1. 1952. It was in February 1952 that the student community stood up against the unjust decision imposed by the Pakistani rulers on the national language question. It was through this language movement that an incredible awakening of our independence spirit was created through this language movement.’
