Dhaka: Transport Minister of Transport and Bridges and General Secretary of Awami League Obatadul Quader have warned that the government will be forced to take strict measures in the public interest if extra money is taken in the prescribed fraternity.
On Monday (November 8) morning, the Minister of Transport and Bridges gave this warning to the transport owners and workers during a briefing at the official residence.
The minister said that the passengers are in the designated bhajar chet. If the extra money is not taken in any way, the government will be forced to take strict action in public interest if it breaks its promise in this regard, he said, "The increased vehicular will not apply to vehicles operated in gas, octane and petrol.
