Faridpur District Representative
A raid in the sugar market in Faridpur to prevent the increase in price District Consumer Rights Protection Directorate.
The raid was conducted on Wednesday (November 23) from 11 am to 12 noon. The store was fined by M/s Neela Doul Mill and the wholesale business of Heliport Bazar in Gotalachamt district headquarters. The senior marketing officer of the Department of Agriculture in the operation led by Sohail Sheikh. Shahadat Hossain and 1 team of district police and related market business leaders were present and fully cooperated in the campaign.
Assistant Director of District Consumer Rights Protection Directorate. Sohail Sheikh said that the operation will be fined 5000 rupees and 2000 rupees for Messrs. Chanota Store for the crime of not having a receipt of daily commodities including sugar, keeping the price of sugar high and not storing and displaying the price list properly.
