Four police officers of the rank of DIG have been promoted to Additional IGP (Grade-II).
The promoted are - DIG Jamil Ahmed of Police Headquarters, DIG of Police Staff College. Humaun Kabir, DIG O.EM Belalur Rahman of Police Headquarters and Additional Commissioner of DMP Mir Rezaul Alam.
Today, Wednesday (January 25), in a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration, they will give this promotion.
It will be said in the notification that this order of promotion of four officers from DIG to Additional IGP will be effective from the date of release.
The promoted officers will send the joining letter through the appropriate authority and will continue to remain in office until the next post.
