Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandrapal has announced the closure of shops and raw markets after 6 pm except for the drug shop in Lakshmipur to protect against coronavirus infection. He announced this through a special circular on Friday (March 27) at noon.

The special announcement of the district administration is highlighted as follows:,

It is hereby informed for the public information of Lakshmipur district that not to give further instructions till:

  • All types of vehicles such as cargo trucks (bus, rickshaws, autorickshaws, CNG and motorcycles) will be stopped.

  • All kinds of hotels, restaurants and tea shops will be closed.

  • All shops and raw markets will be closed after 6 pm for the medicine shop.

  • Hat markets will be closed in all union levels including the municipality.

  • Fertilizer and pesticide shops will be open from 9 am to 1 pm.

  • Don't listen to any rumors. Legal action will be taken against the rumour-promoters.

The coronavirus pandemic has already been dealt with all shops and vehicles except for food and pharmaceutical shops. The administration has called for the administration to stop, but the Deputy Commissioner urged to follow the above instructions until further instructions.
