The fire incident occurred in the office of Char Kalkini Adarsh High School in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur, claiming that there has been a loss of Rs 6 lakh, but the cause of the fire is not known.
The fire took place in the early hours of Wednesday (January 15).
Mahmudur Rahman Belatt, the head teacher of the school, said that after seeing the fire in the school's office room in the morning and night, the local people brought fire to the fire.
