In the 21st National Conference of Awami League, Sheikh Hasina has been elected as the President and Obatadul Quader General Secretary again.
The newly dissolved committee presidium member Abdul Matin Khosru proposed the name of Sheikh Hasina as the president, and Piyush Kanti Bhattacharya supported her proposal.
Jahangir Kabir Nanak proposed the name of Obatadul Quader as the general secretary, which was supported by Abdur Rahman.
They were elected in the council session at the Engineers Institution Milna of the capital on Saturday afternoon.
