Kamalnagar (Laxmipur) Correspondent: In order to make the coastal residents' progress and protection on the progress and protection of the coastal residents, separate rally and discussion meetings were held at Kamalnagar-Ramgati in Lakshmipur to demand November 12 as Coast Day.
On Tuesday (November 12) at noon, Kamalnagar Press Club will organize this program at Hajihat in Kamalnagar Upazila.

Nizam Uddin, Principal of Child Kether School and College Nurul Islam, former president of Upazila Jubo League Fazlul Haque Sabuj, Jubo League joint convener Isachin Arafat Raju, General Secretary of Kamalnagar Press Club. Otazi Ullah Jutull, journalist Sana Ullah Sanu, Amjad Hossain Amu and Chhatra League leader Rakib Hossain Lotus and others.
Essam speakers demanded that this day be officially declared Coast Day in memory of the victim on November 12.
Earlier, a rally was conducted at Hazirhat Bazar demanding Coast Day with the participation of various classes of people including Rebecca Mohsin, the female Bishtak editor of the upazila Aomi League.
Meanwhile, Ramgati Achita Pilot High School and Ramgatti Shardanjali Forum jointly organized a rally and discussion meeting to demand this day. The meeting was addressed by Abdur Razzak, Headmaster of Achi Pilot High School, Dr. Kaman Sheesh Majumdar, Medical Officer of Ramgati Health Complex, Lecturer Ranjit Das, Lincolnsaha and Journalist Misusaha.
Incidentally, on November 12, 1970, 50,000 people died in the 16 districts of the coast, including Lakshmipur, and 500,000 people, but 1 million people died in the private sector. On March 18, 2017, the United Nations World Weather Organization recognized this day as the most fatal death in the history of the world.
