Due to the influence of cyclone ‘Bulbul', the Department of Awahawta has asked to show danger signal number 7 at Mongla and Patra sea port and Chittagong sea port. However, signal number 4 has continued in Cox's Bazar.
Abdul Hamid, weatherman of the Department of Weather, confirmed this information on Friday (08 November).
Meanwhile, the government has made all kinds of preparations to deal with the cyclone ‘Bulbul’. In the meantime, the leave of officials and employees of the 22 concerned ministrys and officials and employees of the district and upazila levels has been cancelled.
Bulbul may hit the coast of Bangladesh between Saturday evening and midnight. The cyclone is 74 km of the center of the cyclone.
The seven districts have been identified as dangerous areas under the influence of cyclone ‘Bulbul'. The districts are Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Barguna, Pirojpur, Patukhali and Bhola.
