Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Laxmipur): A woman named Tashlima Akhtar (24) committed suicide by drinking poison in Kamalnagar of Laxmipur.
The incident took place on Thursday (April 18) at noon in Char Falkon Abdul Hadi of the upazila.
Jannatul Ferdaus, sister of the deceased, said that her sister committed suicide by poisoning her husband 9 years ago with Raju of Char Falcon Unitan.
Upazila Thana SI Jahangir Alam confirmed the truth of the incident and preparations are underway.
