6 chairman candidates of Char Lawrence and Char Martin Uniton Parishad (UP) of Kamalnagar Upazila of Laxmipur have boycotted the vote.
On Monday (October 31) from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, the candidates held a separate press conference and boycotted the vote.
They are - BNP Chetrman candidate of Char Lawrence Unit, current Chetnerman Mosharraf Hossain Khokon, Islami Andolan Bangladesh Mosleh Uddin, independent candidate Master Abul Kasem Hawladar, BNP candidate and current chairman Ali Ahmed, Islami Andolan Bangladesh candidate Mufti Muslim Uddin Noori and independent candidate Md. Jahangir Alam.
The candidates told Pallinews that in the afternoon, the government party people occupied the center and voted openly in the boat symbol, which the candidates could not cast their votes for themselves, and the candidates were attacked, which is why we have boycotted the vote.
