In Char Larench village of Kamalnagar upazila of Laxmipur, there has been a complaint of poisoning fish in a fish farm, which has caused a loss of lakhs of rupees, claimed that the farmer Md. Shah Alam, a farmer of the farm, said that the incident took place on Wednesday (January 16) morning.
Locals said that Md. Shah Alam (55), son of Haji Sultan Ahmed of Larenche village of Char Larenche Uniner of the upazila, leased 5 acres of land on Hazirhat Unitan and cultivated various species of fish in it. He spent at least 2 lakh rupees in fish and food millet. He could have sold that fish for 3 lakh rupees.
Fish farmer Shah Alam complained that some of the miscreants poured poison on the fish farm on Tuesday night due to previous enmity. got up
SI Md Abul Kalam Azad of Hazirhat Investigation Center said, "I have seen dead fish at the spot after getting the news, but how he died cannot be said forensic examination report. If written complaints are received, legal action will be taken, he said.
