Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has said that there is no chance to postpone the date of the 11th National Assembly elections.
On Tuesday morning, he said, “After December 30, there is no chance to postpone the date of the 11th National Assembly elections.”
Earlier, the date for the election of the National Assembly was announced on December 23, but in view of the demands of the political parties, the Election Commission (EC) announced the rescheduling on Monday afternoon.
The new schedule will be held on December 30. The last date for submission of nomination papers is November 28.
The EC has said that the issue of selection and withdrawal of nomination papers will be announced later.
