lingering After seven years, the new committee of Laxmipur district Chhatra Dal has been formed again after seven years. On Tuesday (June 5), the Center has approved the 11-member committee with Hasan Mahmud Ibrahim as the president and Abdullah Al Mamun as the general secretary.
Other holders of the committee are Senior Vice President Zahid Hasan Mission, Vice President Abdur Rahim Rajan, Vice President Gazi Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Mir Mosharraf Hossain Arafat, Kamal Uddin Rauthan, Amjad Hossain, Joint Editor Amir Ahmed Raju, Fakhrul Islam Sohel and Organizing Secretary Rezwatan Hossain Akbar.
Shahid Uddin Chowdhury, the central campaign secretary of BNP and former president of Chhatra Dal's central committee, said that the new committee of the district Chhatra Dal's new committee said, ’The leaders of the new committee will strengthen each unit of the Chhatra Dal and work unitedly in the next movement.“
It should be noted that in 2009, the Center formed a 15-member Agreement Committee of Chhatra Dal's Lakshmipur district branch. Later in 2011, the Agreement of the Committee made the full committee with the Agreement of Harunur Rashid as the President and Joint Agreement Mahbub Alam Mamun as the General Secretary.
