Member of Parliament Abdur Rahman Badir Akhtar Kamal (41) was killed in a ‘gunfight’ between two groups of drug dealers in Ramu, Cox's Bazar.
According to the police, Kamal has filed five cases against him in the Ministry of Home Affairs and the police listed by the police.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramu Police Station Litakat Ali Sikdar said that the gunfight took place in the two bridge area of the upazila's murderer on Friday morning.
The deceased Kamal MP Badi's sister-in-law is a member of Shamsunhar's brother-in-law and number two and terrad of Sabrang Union of Teknaf.
OC Litakat Ali Sikdar said that the gunfight happened in the morning due to the transaction of Itaba. The police found Kamal's body at the spot.
