In Narsingdi's Manohardi, BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarek Rahman has distributed high quality seeds of Boro paddy and mustard among the farmers. This program is being implemented under the initiative of the ‘Agriculturists Association of Bangladesh’ (AB).
On Sunday (November 8) at 10 am, the ceremony was presided over by Shukundi Nazim Uddin High School Senior Teacher A.B. M. Mahmudur Rahman was present as the chief guest, agriculturists Association of Bangladesh (AB) member secretary and joint general secretary of Krishakdal Central Committee agriculturist Shahadat Hossain Biplab.
Acting Convener of Narsingdi District Farmers Party Shafiqul Islam Apple, Member Secretary Deepak Kumar Burman Prince, Acting Convener of Manohardi Upazila Farmers Party Suruj Mia, Member Secretary of Volunteer Party Mozammel Hossain Bhuiyan Ujjal, Convener of Manohardi Municipal Farmers Party were present as special guests.
On the same afternoon, the second phase of the seeds was distributed among the farmers at Birgaon High School ground. Former General Secretary of Krishnapur Uniton BNP Kazi Anwar Hossain Khosru was present as the chief guest and agriculturist Shahadat Hossain Biplab was present as the chief guest and Mohsin Kabir hosted the event in the presence of the same guests.
The speakers said that this initiative will play an important role in the country's food production and agriculture development as part of the development activities of the agriculture-friendly government and for the overall cooperation of marginal farmers.
