According to the statement made by Charbhadrasan Thana, a team of police was performing the duty to recover drugs and conduct special operations on Saturday night. At around 9:10 PM, while standing on the Independence Chattar Bridge in BS Dangi area, the police came to know that the ripe people were staying in front of the BRAC office to sell drugs.
Later, a police team reached the spot around 10:25 pm when the poison was informed to the senior official and Hasan Molla and the other person who were with him tried to escape on the presence of the police.
